Gem Pack Vol. 2, the second entry in the Gem Pack series, aimed at a distribution in mainland China and thus published exclusively in the Simplified Chinese language. Unlike other Simplified Chinese sets of the Pokémon TCG seen in the past, Gem Pack Vol. 2 only offers one type of booster with four cards per pack, with no option for a bigger booster. The booster box contains fifteen packs and each pack is guaranteed to include one rare, double rare, or triple rare card.
The set is focused on the bunny-looking Eevee and in particular on the fluffy Pokémon’s many evolutions—or, as they’re commonly called, “Eeveelutions.” Eevee is, to date, the single most evolvable Pokémon in the entire game, with a record eight evolved forms available. Each of these Eeveelutions is celebrated in Gem Pack Vol. 2 through a different version with variant artwork. The most conspicuous of these comprise a group that was created specifically for this set by Japanese artist HYOGONOSUKE, four cards with never-before-seen illustrations that placed side by side form a larger picture portraying Eevee and its Eeveelutions enjoying a quiet day on a pleasant meadow near the woods. These are, listed from left to right once the composite scene is put together: Leafeon, Sylveon, Umbreon, and good old basic Eevee.

Another eleven evolved cards complete this gigantic Eevee tribute through a number of distinct types of variants: reverse holo cards, V and VMAX cards, as well as unique cards with the Gem Pack logo printed on them. The reverse holos, which are those for which every element of the card is holographic except the artwork, include the Vaporeon that was previously a Sword & Shield promo; the Flareon from Vivid Voltage; and the Glaceon, also from Sword & Shield.
