Magic: The Gathering Marvel Super Heroes is a major crossover between two of the most iconic entertainment universes. The MTG Marvel Super Heroes expansion is part of Wizards of the Coast’s Universes Beyond series and brings the deep, decades-rich history of Marvel Comics into the engine and strategy of Magic: the Gathering. MTG Marvel Super Heroes brings Earth's mightiest heroes (and villains) to your tabletop, with an all-star roster of iconic characters, including Captain America, Quicksilver, Doctor Doom, Super-Skrull, the Fantastic Four family, and more.

 MTG Marvel Superheroes draws directly from classic Marvel Comics, giving you that authentic comic book energy complete with vintage comic treatments, borderless source material cards, and borderless panel cards that capture those unforgettable comic moments. The set introduces a new core mechanic – Power-Up – which can only be activated once and lets you go all out if it’s used the same turn it enters the battlefield (it reduces the cost equal to the card’s mana value).

 The MTG Marvel Superheroes set also brings back Sagas, which are perfect for telling those epic Marvel storylines. World War Hulk and The Coming of Galactus both use the saga mechanic to unfold iconic comic arcs across multiple chapters. Alongside this, Plan is a new enchantment subtype that lets you set up long-term strategies and unlock bigger effects as you hit specific milestones during the game. MTG Marvel Superheroes also features double-faced cards like Bruce Banner / The Incredible Hulk, letting you cast either side or transform Banner into his green alter ego when conditions are right.
